Veronica Smith

Veronica was fortunate enough to have had a yogi’s influence throughout her life. In 2008 her official study into the human body began her fascination with the neuroplasticity of the brain through meditation and self work. Feeling overwhelmed with life led to investing into studying closely with Beth, committing fully to her own practice, and gave her the skills to share the love of practice with others.

Having a medical license in oral hygiene is a license to preventative medicine. With specialty certifications in Trauma Informed Healthcare, she brings an emphasis of healing trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and learning new coping mechanisms that can be used in everyday life.

The flavor she brings to the Idayoga team is a complete body slow down. With crystal alchemy sound bowls and a deeper meditative yin-style yoga, Veronica’s classes are restorative to the body, and a reset to the mind, nervous system, and spirit.

Yoga has given me an access into spirituality by relating real science to the interconnectedness of the world. Yoga has given me tools that I can use in my daily life to improve my own mental health and be the best version of myself. Yoga has helped me slow down so that I can truly enjoy my life.
