Cecilee was first introduced to yoga in 2004 in Trumbull, CT where she attended an Ashtanga Yoga class. She quickly fell in love with the challenging sequencing, and the ability to “drop in” to a meditative movement space she had not previously experienced.

Since that time, Cecilee has become an avid lover-of-yoga.

She practices primarily vinyasa flow, though enjoys yin, hatha, and many other expressions of yoga. She completed her 200 hour teacher training through Shanti Yoga, and has studied under other professional yogi’s since that time, including Jason Crandell, Elinore Cohen and our very own Beth Stuart.

In Cecilee’s classes you can expect to move and sweat, linking some basic and challenging poses with the breath, allowing for a deep savasana to end the practice.

When not on her mat, you might find Cecilee exploring the mountains, working with at-risk youth as a therapist, or hanging out with her partner and her 3 beautiful children.
